Hospitality Is In Our Roots

/BAM’BOO’ZAH/

The name BAMBUZA pays homage to the bamboo plant found throughout Vietnam.
In Vietnamese culture, bamboo represents the values of
INTEGRITY, STEWARDSHIP, and COMMUNITY.

It all started …

With co-owner Daniel Nguyen’s family in their kitchen at home with the family matriarch, Mama Lan, cooking up family recipes, calling for less standing around and more doing. They decided then that they had to share — not just the food but also the experience. The family began selling spring rolls at farmers markets and events, which led to a tiny restaurant serving up their favorite dishes.

Now, decades later, the family business has evolved into Bambuza Hospitality Group — a management group known for its high quality food and customer service excellence. The family recipes live on in our beloved brand Bambuza Vietnamese Kitchen & Bar, but our operations have expanded to include in-house brands like Ninth & Pike Artisan Kitchen and Embarqué, as well as popular partner brands like The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Sambazon.

Under our management we operate 16 restaurant and retail locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, including at John Wayne, Seattle-Tacoma and Portland International airports, as well as in Portland’s bustling waterfront district. BHG will soon launch additional operations out of Sea-Tac Airport, John Wayne Airport, Salt Lake City International Airport, and in the greater Portland Metro Area.
